Y'alllll....

It's been a week. (No shit, it's a weekly newsletter.)

Rude.

Anyway.. I had to look at the camera roll on my phone to remember what exactly I got up to this week. A new member joined the family on Monday, her name is Daphne, and she is the enormous ginger root I bought to make my aforementioned health and wellness. Tuesday evening, I was fortunate enough to live-stream Andrew Bird's Gezelligheid concert- we also made a steak and ate some cheese. On Wednesday, I went to the jewelry store. I've been haphazard with my attendance lately, something about not being mentally well, but I had a nice time finishing up an order and making my first pair of earrings. Thursday is therapy day, Friday I taught a yoga, Saturday I made beef jerky and worked on some sewing projects. Today is Sunday.

That's my week. I also applied to a couple of jobs and did other miscellaneous job search-related activities. I've got a new little sewing fire lit due to an infectious Australian YouTuber, and one of my besties got a sewing machine. I spent the better part of my afternoon ironing/ otherwise trying to get the curl out of tailor's paper, then started plotting points for some pants that, rather than tracing the pants I own that these pants are modeled after, I decided to measure and then draft the pattern myself because I did 3 semesters of fashion school and think I know things. Meanwhile, I'm procrastinating plotting out the shirt I also measured to draft because I am dead set on making myself a lounge set out of some cheap Walmart fabric.

What have you been getting up to? The winter makes me hibernate; I don't really want to go do much, so I tend to become more of a homebody than I already am. Luckily, I've been able to pour a little curiosity into a project lately, I am prone to convincing myself not to do a project because I "should" be doing something else. That's silly. So, maybe there is something you haven't been getting up to, for whatever reason, and maybe, just maybe, you should start instead of thinking about starting.

Ew, that was annoying. I apologize.
Same time next week?
