Well, good morning to me. (maybe you too if I get this out in time and you read it..) Its 9:08 am Monday morning and I'm sure a few of you are curious about this newsletter. Don't worry, its right here, being authored and sent immediately, so it will be hot and fresh in your inbox. A happy little accident considering I spaced about the newsletter until I was already disrobed and in bed.

I returned from California Friday night/ Saturday morning. It was a long day, and I'm not the only one saying that, you can ask Mae. We got on our plane at 12:30 pm California time, and didn't get off said plane until around 11:30 pm East Coast time. There's a 3 hour time difference, so I'll let you do the math.

Truth be told, I had a few ideas for this week's edition, but now that I have put myself into somewhat of a rush, they've all but gone out the window. In fact, I can only remember one of my ideas, which was to sneak a bunch of song lyrics into my writing, which I will still do at some point. I guess anything is a song lyric if you sing it.

I'm getting awfully distracted while trying to plan out the rest of my day/ week. See, if you haven't guessed by now, my life isn't exactly where I'd prefer it to be by this point in my life. In attempts to change that, I have been applying to many, many jobs, reaching out to hiring managers, and just generally trying to generate more income. Sure, the world is a shit show right now and times are tough for everyone, but I'd really just like to be able to provide for myself without imposing so much on my enjoyment of life. Bare minimum shit.

Anyway, excuse my tardiness and lack of substance this week. I think today is the first day I haven't felt super wobbly from travel. I have gotten better about writing throughout the week though, I did journal a bit, so maybe, just maybe, I'll be back on my entertaining nonsense with a good lengthy read in the eventual future. All futures are eventual. I miss writing and rambling and being clever. I'll find that Julia again soon, I'm sure.. Until then.
